Real life events are treated like fictional media automatically entering some meme cannon and fictional media is demanded of so much moralism and the events in fictional media are treated with so much seriousness as if whatever is being depicted..is being condoned. People talk about media literacy all of the time now but it’s actually crazy how nothing that happens in real life is sacred or free of exploitation but anything fictional has to be explicitly clear in a specific moral compass.

genuinely one of the worst things pop cisfeminism has given us is the idea that femme is a good word to mean “women & people perceived as women” & that misogyny is fundamentally hatred of femininity. hatred of femininity is rooted in misogyny but misogyny is not synonymous with hatred of femininity. speak to masc women & transmascs ever im on my knees begging. you are not being inclusive to nonbinary people you just sound fucking ridiculous. say misogyny.
the worst part is that anti-femme isn’t a bad term for SPECIFICALLY DISDAIN FOR FEMININITY which is something that IS NOT EXCLUSIVE TO MISOGYNISTIC MEN but i’ll bite on that a different day…
